Process heat recovery in a manufacturing plant

THE PROJECT: This manufacturing company uses two thermal oxidizers during its process that releases energy into the atmosphere, in combustion gases form.

To reduce the plant’s environmental impact, C-nergie installed a heat recovery system via a high temperature glycol loop.

The recovered energy is used to preheat the compensation air from the process evacuators.

The replacement of the ventilation units also optimizes the air supply to the building, in accordance with the real needs.

IMPLEMENTED MEASURES:

Replacement of air compensation units

Installation of a glycol loop and a heat recovery unit.

Added and optimized centralized controls.
